The Curse of Illegitimacy

Updated: Sep 9

The Curse of Illegitimacy. Being born out of wedlock does have consequences.

Often one feels they can’t get close to God. That God does not love them or they have committed to great a sin that God will never forgive them. Some feel they can not go to church and assemble with others who do belong to God. The other side of this curse is to allow illegitimacy to continue down the bloodline as generation after generation will repeat the process of being born out of marriage. Scripture states, “One of illegitimate birth shall not enter the assembly of the Lord; even to the tenth generation none of his descendants shall enter the assembly of the Lord. ”Deuteronomy‬ ‭23‬:‭2‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Scripture also states the alteration of genitalia, which could also refer to transgenderism in our present day society. The alteration of gender does have an effect on identity. The devil wants to steal the identity often leaving people confused and feeling like they don’t belong.

“He who is emasculated by crushing or mutilation shall not enter the assembly of the Lord.”

‭‭Deuteronomy‬ ‭23‬:‭1‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

There is healing through Jesus Christ no matter what you have done or what has been done to you. There is nothing too big or too small that God cannot handle

A person with long hair sits curled up on the ground, head resting on bent knees, against a two-toned pink and dark background, evoking sadness, separation, illigitimacy.
